DAVID IS THE BEST SERVER, EVER!
His menu knowledge, professionalism, timing, and hospitality was entirely on point! If we hadn't been crunched for time, I would have taken the opportunity to speak to the GM and person and let them know- if David isn't a trainer or a shift lead, you're seriously undervaluing his contribution to your team!
The moment I saw there was a Whiskey Cake in the area, my heart jumped for joy and I convinced my colleagues we needed to stop in for lunch. Best decision ever. We hadn't even finished eating when one of them booked a reservation with their spouse at our local WC.
The food is always amazing. It was interesting to see the unique differences between this location and the one back home. The hulk was a nice, refreshing summer drink (non-alcoholic).
Seriously, though- David, you deserve recognition for your truly top notch hospitality. Thank you, again!

My son and I popped in for dinner this week. We started with the fondue as an app. He had the ribs and Mac n cheese while I enjoyed the salmon with the corn and edamame succotash. He enjoyed his dinner, but said it wasn't anything spectacular. My salmon was simple and perfectly cooked. The succotash was flavorful. However, my entire meal was lacking in salt.

We finished with a slice of their signature Whiskey cake and Irish coffee.

Our server was very nice and the ambiance was cool. Ultimately it comes down to the food, though. We wanted to love Whiskey Cake, but in the end it was just "Ok".

We had a large group here on a Friday night. The restaurant was crowded but we had a reserved table which was ready when we got there. The service was awesome. Our waiter was amazing and a lot of fun.
The food was ok. I had the salmon with a tomato, cucumber salad. The salmon was amazing and the tomatoes were good. I just thought there should have been something more than tomatoes and a small salmon steak. My husband and niece both got a pasta, chicken dish. Neither of them liked it. They said they didn't care for the flavor of the sauce.
We wanted dessert and with the name of the restaurant being Whiskey Cake, we wanted to try it. We were told that they were out of it. It was Friday evening. I was shocked they didn't have it. We settled for the strawberry short cake. The cake tasted like something you would by in a package at Wal Mart. I was very disappointed.

My friend and I met for lunch at Whiskey Cake. For me, this is my first time at this restaurant and I did enjoy the short menu. My friend and I both ordered the smoked tri-tip dip. The beef had a good smoky flavor, very tender and the ciabatta bread was soft and chewy. The french fries were a little disappointing. It was kind like they were sitting under a heat lamp for a while. We did order the famous Whiskey Cake which is a delicious toffee bourbon cake topped with pecans and whipped cream.
There is a full bar, great customer service.

This place is always on point! Fantastic cocktails, whiskey/bourbon options, fantastic food, and nice ambiance. The wait staff are always friendly. Solid place to catch a great drink and a good meal.

I always love this place. Consistently good food, good portions, good staff. I love the rustic feel and decor around the place. Hot hen is always a go to for me. It's a great night out. We like the smoked old fashions but don't necessarily care for the tableside display, so they have always respected when we ask they don't do it at the table. Thanks for being a solid place!

What's not to love about whiskey cake. Brunch, lunch, dinner, or bar snacks, and you will always have a winner. The service is always on point. Robb has done an amazing job with his staff and this restaurant. The restaurant is an open concept, and although busy, it's never too loud. I do wish the pairing dinners would make a come back, but even without them this place is a 10/10. Ingredients are sourced locally, food is fresh, and cocktails are creative. My most recent favorite is the American pie old fashioned. WOW. The crab fritters, candied bacon, and Mac and cheese are all crowd favorites. Thanks for doing a great job!

Always a great spot for brunch! Chicken & Waffles
are consistently a good choice. Love the ambiance. Wait staff are generally welcoming and pleasant.

I am very pregnant and in desperate need of a good dessert. Where do we looks for said dessert? None other than Whiskey Cake. If the place is willing to name their whole restaurant after the cake it has to be good, right.

CORRECT! That cake is so good. It's moist and caramel-y and comes with an a amazing whipped cream that goes on top! Not to mention the caramelized pecans on top. Yum!

We were seated outside which was cozy and relaxing on this lovely fall afternoon.

I've been hearing about this place for a while and finally got to go. The shrimp and grits were amazing. I ate the rest of my wife's food too. Forgot what she got but it was all bomb as hell. Ate so much I didn't even get to try the whiskey cake. I highly recommend this place. We had a party of ten and got in and out with awesome service from Emily. Great experience. Ohh, and the decor inside was pretty awesome as well.
