I get my hair colored and I get my nails done, so I know how these places operated before Covid.
Hair salon always cleaned tools,New drape, sanitized sink, and high standard of germ transfer.However Nail salon always wore masks, gloves,clean stations, so they were not much different before Covid.
These are businesses owned by working class people that also are operators in these professions. Yet Newsom came out fast telling a fake story with no creditable evidence against nail salons?
I realize this pandemic is new to everyone in the whole world but we have learned so much since March including saving more lives.
There is no magic answer but closing down so many restaurants, hair & nail salons, and just the small businesses people in general is creating so much loss for them, unlike people that can do their job remotely or essential workers that still go into work.
Where is the generous stimulus and unemployment checks now? They still must pay rent for their businesses and everyday living expenses. Taking away any way of making income in their profession is a singled out hardest hit of all when stores like Target,Costco, grocery, pharmacy, are open and needed but don't have the strongest of guidelines like these small businesses?

It's so sad to see all these small businesses suffer. The best we can do is support them as much as we can when they do open, and post reviews shouting out our love to them.

Newsom called out nail salons as super spreaders when he had no evidence to back this up. He does and says anything he wants because he feels he has California lockdown, thinking this is for our protection?
Guess what? People can decide in a free country what we do as protection? Florida's governor was on TV today saying he stayed open and it worked!
Compared to the bay area and our whole state our only win was the summer months and everything was outdoors!

He has bean making bad decisions for too long?

Apply more pressure to Newsom, he can handle it.
