What is a good breakfast restaurant in New Orleans?

One of my absolute favorites is Surrey's. There is one located uptown on Magazine Street and another downtown.

I like City Diner and Mila. If you want Mediterranean breakfast then Cleo's inside of the convenience store is sooo good. See my review.

I eat at Rivisita on Magazine pretty often; it's small with a limited menu but that means all the foods are yummy.
I also like Surrey's Uptown and Biscuits & Buns on Banks.2/18/2015 -

Are we thinking brunch too bc Atchafalaya has an awesome breakfast brunch with a Bloody Mary bar. It's pricey but tasty!

*Surrey's in the Garden District is my favorite breakfast place in the city. It is cash only and there is likely to be a wait, but it's worth it.
*= Surrey's is the best breakfast place, but not my best breakfast in the city. The best breakfast I ever had in the city was when I was all hungover after a bar crawl. The waitress offered me a lot of something when all I wanted was coffee. I have no idea what the place was called, but damn that breakfast was awesome.2/18/2015 -

Can't beat the two egg breakfast with praline bacon at Elizabeth's or the veggie omelet, both are superb.
