I just got a dishwasher, and need to buy more dishes so I can actually fill the thing up when I use it. Thrift stores always have cups and dishes languishing on the shelves and collecting dust, and I wanted to go stock up when I know they have discounts. This could be useful information to have around for everyone, as I know many have half off clothing days, half off misc days, etc. Does anyone know?
Most of their discounting is for seniors, and reach location is different, save Goodwill, which discounts seniors everyday 10%-15%. Take one with you, and you're golden :-)
Otherwise, the biggest deal is when BloominDeals has their twice-yearly bag sale. Lines are long and start early for those. The next one should be in October.
Red, White & Blue has different colored tags discounted on different days (several different locations around the metro area).
Avoid Wednesdays, unless you can borrow a Senior like Rene suggested. Seniors get a discount on everything on Wednesday, but that means the rest of us don't get any discount - boo!
