Blind mystic Baba Vanga predicted the end of the world would start in 2025.

Vanga, called “the Nostradamus of the Balkans”, predicted many major world events, including the war in Ukraine and the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

The Bulgarian woman, believed to have had an extraordinary ability to “see” into the future, died 26 years ago, aged 84.

Vanga, whose real name was Vangelia Gushterova, lost her eyesight at 12 years of age — and from that time, she was said to have been gifted with clairvoyance.

The beginning of the end times would start in 2025 although humanity would not be wiped off the face of the earth until 5079, according to Vanga.

She made a comprehensive list of forecasts leading up to that point, painting a rather terrifying picture of humanity’s long road to extinction.

She predicted that, by 2025, Europe would be mostly uninhabited; in 2028, a new power source would be discovered and people would walk on Venus; and, by 2033, there would be a significant rise in sea levels.

Fast forward to 2288, Baba predicted people would be able to time travel.

Vanga was tested by Bulgarian and Russian scientists and found to have had an 85 per cent success rate with her predictions, Sky History reported.

Her predictions are often cryptic and are hard to verify.
