Video footage shows Goodywn was present at the Capitol on Jan. 6th. He was ordered out of the building by Capitol Police and left.

Case Status

Goodwyn was arrested on 1/29/2021. He was indicted on 2/24. Conditions of release (personal recognizance, home detention) were set on 03/12/21. The home detention condition was lifted on 03/22/2022. He entered a plea of not guilty to all counts on 4/2/21 and on 1/10/22. Goodwyn plead guilty to count 2 on 1/31/22. On 6/6/23, he was sentenced to 60 days in prison with credit for time served followed by 1 year of probation. Restitution of $500 and a $2,500 imposed. On appeal, the court agreed to lifts is original requirements to monitor his computer during probation.
