I’ve purchased two sets of these glasses and for the most part they work really well. I use them for hot and my partner uses them for iced. Because of the double wall design I can warm my hands on the cup without burning them. They are lightweight and sturdy. I’ve only had one break and that was because my cat knocked it off the drain board. Of course, the reason it was on the drain board was because water had gotten between the walls during the dishwasher cycle. I see from other reviews that the solution is to hand wash. So far I’ve thrown out 3 cups (would have been 4 if my cat hadn’t decided to sleep on the drain board). Not sure if I’m ready to hand wash, so I may just have to keep buying more.

We just got these on Wednesday (within 2 hours of placing the order.) First thing I did after taking out of the box is run them through the dishwasher so they were ready for our morning coffee, they held up nicely in the dishwasher. They are double insulated, surprisingly are very light weight and keep the coffee warm for approximately 30 -40 minutes. My partner in crime was impressed with the size, stability and how long it kept his coffee. Overall we are very happy with this product. My only concern is because they are lightweight I am afraid of them breaking if placed down too hard or bang into something else in their proximity but we shall see. So far we have no complaints, if this changes I will update the review.

Good looking and functional but leaks

I've had these mugs for a while now. I'm on my third one. There is a design flaw that reveals itself over time. Double-wall glass needs an outlet to allow for expansion and contraction. These mugs have a tiny hole at the bottom that seems to widen over time. Eventually when you're washing the mu or when you set it on a wet spot, liquid will get between the double walls. You will never be able to get the stain out, so from that point on, your mug will look dirty. Bodum solves this issue by putting a little rubber-ish plug in the hole. That allows for expansion without allowing liquid to get in. These don't have that feature.

Other than that, the 16-ounce mugs are a great size. They're attractive (until they get stained between the walls). And they are excellent insulators. The handle is comfortable, and the size is adequate for a lot of different coffee drinks.

As canecas são muito bonitas, bem leves e conseguem manter bem a temperatura, graças ao material (borossilicato). O tamanho é ideal para tomar café, ou mesmo chá. A temperatura não passa para o lado de fora. Se não fosse uma pequena imperfeição na parte de baixo das canecas, eu daria nota máxima. Em ambas as canecas há uma imperfeição que se nota ao virá-las de cabeça para baixo, que acredito ser do processo de fabricação, pois estão exatamente no mesmo lugar. Dá a impressão de ser uma pequena bolha, e talvez influencie na durabilidade. Não posso afirmar com certeza porque não utilizei por longo período. Outra questão importante é que pela fotografia principal do produto pode parecer que no kit vem uma espécie de escova para limpeza, que na realidade não vem. Vem apenas o que aparece na descrição. De todo modo, tem um excelente custo x benefício, especialmente quando comparada às marcas mais conhecidas. O produto veio muito bem embalado e chegou em ótimas condições. Uso diariamente há 1 semana.
