This was for my husbands phone. He's pretty hard on his phone so a case that covers the front and back are a necessity. This keeps his phone clean and dry, safe from scratches and whatever the day may hold for him while he is working. It protects your phone from breaking if dropped (at least so far-so good). He has used a Lifeproof case ever since he got this phone, and when he removes the case his phone still looks brand new. We just replace the case when it gets all dirty and scratched up on the front cover. Lifeproof cases seem to cost a bit more, but so much cheaper than a new phone, or even the deductible if you have insurance on your phone.

Gone is the quality and customers support I’ve enjoyed for years. Wife and I have the same case with the same crack around the camera lens. File a warranty claim for $10, fine. Claim goes out for review and that’s the end of it. No way to check status, no communication. A plastic case is not worth $80 if it’s going to fall apart in 6 months.

2nd update :Ordered a new one from the Otterbox/Lifeproof site since they have a warranty. The second one was worse than the first one! The charging port ripped off after two months and the speaker cover on the back by the camera lens broke, so dust and dirt got in my phone and scratched the lens. I feel like the quality of Lifeproof has gone downhill so much. I won't be buying a Lifeproof case again after this

It broke after a couple of months use, nothing aggressive, just normal wear and tear. The O ring also fell out and was lost about a month into use.

I have had several Lifeproof cases and have always liked them and never had a problem. I dislike this one immensely! It has a grid of dots all over the screen, so it looks like they’re are specs of water on the screen at all times. I think this is not supposed to be visible to the eye but that is certainly not the case. I would not buy this case again, I’m extremely disappointed

I’ve always bought my Lifeproof cases directly from Lifeproof (or Otterbox since they merged). But Lifeproof was sold out so I found the case here. These cases do a great job keeping my screens from breaking when I drop my phone 2–12x/day! I like how I do NOT need to buy screen protectors & a case & etc…this case’s front clear cover serves as the screen protector. And the case surprised me by how thin it kept the phone—since the cases aren’t bulky, I can still easily slide the phone into pants’ pockets & I don’t feel like a geek with a big bulky-looking case on my phone. This case looks like any old case out there, but does a terrific job protecting my phone!
