Death by China: Confronting the Dragon - A Global Call to Action 1st Edition
Purchase options and add-ons
The world's most populous nation and soon-to-be largest economy is rapidly turning into the planet's most efficient assassin. Unscrupulous Chinese entrepreneurs are flooding world markets with lethal products. China's perverse form of capitalism combines illegal mercantilist and protectionist weapons to pick off American industries, job by job. China's emboldened military is racing towards head-on confrontation with the U.S. Meanwhile, America's executives, politicians, and even academics remain silent about the looming threat. Now, best-selling author and noted economist Peter Navarro meticulously exposes every form of "Death by China," drawing on the latest trends and events to show a relationship spiraling out of control.
Death by China reveals how thousands of Chinese cyber dissidents are being imprisoned in "Google Gulags"; how Chinese hackers are escalating coordinated cyberattacks on U.S. defense and America's key businesses; how China's undervalued currency is damaging the U.S., Europe, and the global recovery; why American companies are discovering that the risks of operating in China are even worse than they imagined; how China is promoting nuclear proliferation in its pursuit of oil; and how the media distorts the China story--including a "Hall of Shame" of America's worst China apologists.
This book doesn't just catalogue China's abuses: It presents a call to action and a survival guide for a critical juncture in America's history--and the world's.
Publisher's note - in this book various quotes and viewpoints are attributed to a 'Ron Vara'. Ron Vara is not an actual person, but rather an alias created by Peter Navarro in order to present his views and opinions.

China is now the greatest threat to America.
Soon to be the world’s largest economy, China is attacking on every front, with every available weapon―from protectionism and currency manipulation to cyber attacks and espionage. Around the globe, China is also doing whatever it takes to capture crucial resources―even if it means promoting nuclear proliferation by the world’s most dangerous regimes. Inside the United States, Americans are being injured or killed by the Dragon’s dangerous exports: poisoned food, spiked drugs, toxic toys. Meanwhile, huge U.S. corporations have allied with China’s state-owned enterprises to destroy American manufacturing―and, ultimately and ironically, destroy themselves.
It’s an incredible and incredibly shameful story, and Death by China tells it all. But understanding the reality of China’s assault on America is only the beginning. Leading economists Peter Navarro and Greg Autry offer a complete plan for surviving the global power shift China has already engineered―and halting the Dragon’s onslaught before it’s too late.
It’s not China “bashing” if it’s true
Challenging the China apologists and appeasers
The Dragon’s death to America’s manufacturing base
How China’s totalitarianism, mercantilism, and protectionism are winning
China’s “dark visitors” steal the “rope” to hang us with

Death by Colonial Dragon―A rising hegemon’s revenge

The message is accurate. Death by China scratches the surface.
It is important that facts get compiled and presented to the western world.
Why are there do few sources of compiled data available generally speaking?
Nest of SPIES is written by de Pierrebourg, Fabrice, of CSIC (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) with all facts cross referenced or otherwise noted in the text as rumor. There is not much rumor in this book... A bit dry, but factual, looking at the efforts of various countries and their multiple methods of going about commercial and government theft and espionage. Obviously China is now the largest subject surpassing Russia. Eye opening. Recommended reading with Death by China, providing a comprehensive view.
Also recommend watching the 60 Minutes segment on American Superconductor to see an in-depth real work example of issues these books refer to.
I have attempted to upload a picture to my review of the US Embassy in Beijing's main entrance. Notice the embassy has been fenced off by China and has Chinese troops manning the fence from the inside. Back side of the embassy has Chinese WJ soldiers with machine guns inside an armored car in addition to the Chinese fence and troops. A US Citizen or US Embassy Employee can not even get to the embassy's entrance and guards, to the US Embassy land itself, without running through the Chinese gauntlet.
Peter Navarro, I have a lot of good photos for you to chose from for the cover of your next book :)

This book should be read by every bureaucrat and politician in our nation - and followed by action. We really do not have to fear Iranian atom bombs - but rather drinking apple juice from China... also it is often not clearly labeled where the ingredients of some products come from. But if you read "packaged by..." and then an importers address somewhere in North America, you can be almost sure that most of the content comes from China. When companies such as GE outsource to China, they hand over all their patents, hurt the American economy and throw people into unemployment - and unemployed people have less purchasing power, meaning less business for GE and all their retailers in the long run.
Are we in North America not able to harvest apples, or manufacture kitchen appliances and clothing anymore? Why do we let China rule our lives, take over our jobs and then poison us with their cheap and tainted food? Not to mention that they are already financing us - and one day ruin our economy when raising their low prices - and they will!
You have been warned, and here is the proof! It is not the first book on China's practices, but it is the one that shows how our everyday shopping decisions are endangering our health and what to avoid buying.
This is Economic Suicide - Good morning America - Wake up!
Hope you survived Black Friday and haven't been hurt while shopping at this Chinese outlet (aka Wal-Mart) and found at least some Made-in-America items at the Small Business Saturday.
Start thinking! Don't get trapped - Give this book to every person you care about.
This is a good read and there is a LOT of references in this book so you can check their facts. Read it and start looking at labels when you go to buy something.
