They fill almost instantly from any bucket, kiddie pool, body of water, etc. They explode on contact (unlike water balloons that often bounce off and explode when they hit the ground). There aren't tiny bits of rubber to pick up all over. They are cool looking and the kids love them. They can be reused over and over. Highly recommend!

    We wanted the kids to have fun with water balloons, but hate the idea of cleaning up the pieces in the grass during the hot weather. Previously, we've always used the traditional water balloons and if left unattended, they melted into the grass and our pavers ! What a mess!     They fill up easily in the pool and close easily due to the self closing lips. They hold water really well and "explode" on impact. The kids love to also fill these up and go diving for these at the bottom of our pool.
