Category: THING
Looney Tunes character Tweety is this yellow bird…
_ _ N _ R _
She WIPED OUT w/ DMPI…or did she?! She nailed CANARY right away and won the trip to Fess Parker’s Red Lion Resort in Santa Barbara plus 1997 Acura 2.2 CL sport luxury coupe worth $27,647, giving her $36,292 cash & prizes and a spot in the Friday Finals. She took Tom the hubby and her lifelong friend Nancy to her new ride.
MY RATING: 5 (awful Speed-Up, penalties galore)
Gus also gave a non-sensical dud of F in the Speed-Up (and he nearly got buzzed out, too). And do you think Kelly’s parting gifts should’ve been labeled “deserving” based on her three blown solves in that round?
My rating, by the way, is a 6.

Oh, and Pat’s original Final Spin landing on the BANKRUPT near $600 was edited out (the second known instance of such).

You mean Gus who said the F (I’ve fixed the name in your reply). And yeah, Kelly’s guesses were just lousy so I’ve added in the “deserving” label as you requested.

Yeah, I meant to say Gus, not Lois- silly me.

After some thought, I decided to go with your rating of 5 instead of my original rating of 6, since that was just too many penalties for my liking.

I don’t understand why MISSION IMPOSSIBLE was categorized as Classic TV, instead of just Title. The film adaptation starring Tom Cruise came out that May, I know, but I don’t get it.

I just saw a clip of the Final Spin. The way I screamed, “YES!” when someone finally deciphered the puzzle… 😮💨
