Minimalist Launcher: Flow (~‪)‬ 17+

Excellent Support

I’m a few days into using the Minimal Phone Launcher, and it works fine as a notification and distraction suppressor just as I anticipated.
However, The main reason I’m writing this review is to highlight the developer! I’m incredibly impressed with the effort and timeliness given by “Airman” to answer my concerns and incorporate shortcuts to essential apps, which are tools I need to run my Business. This gives me faith in this app. If he’s serving the other users this way, the app catalog will fill rapidly, and feature suggestions will likely be integrated and improved.

Also I should mention I immediately purchased the lifetime subscription, and it was more reasonable than a few overpriced competitors.

Love this app.

I have been long awaiting this app to be released and am very grateful to finally have it installed on my phone. It takes a couple minutes to setup, but the video tutorial is excellent and walks you through it quite easily. Once setup the app works flawlessly. Customer service is also top notch as I had an app that wasn’t listed on their “favorites” selection, so I sent over an email from their app and it was quickly added to their list. Thanks for creating this and I look forward to seeing it develop over the years!

Promising, with some quirks

Overall I’ve enjoyed my use of this launcher and have found it helpful in curtailing my screen time. There are a few issues I’ve found that have kept me from purchasing, but am hopefully the developer can update. First, I’ve noticed the day/date displayed on the Home Screen widget is not always accurate. It often gets stuck on Saturday when it’s actually Wednesday, for example. Second, when I launch Safari via the launcher, it always opens a new tab. I’ve ended up with so many extraneous tabs that it’d be nice to customize this to say “I don’t want a new tab, please, just launch safari as if I’d pressed the icon.” If these get fixed I’ll update my review.
