Developer satisfaction is key to employee retention, and losing time because of inefficiencies is no way to keep a motivated dev happy. But beyond employee happiness, there are real numbers affected by losing time - 6.9 million of them, in fact. How are effective teams reducing these inefficiencies and making sure Developers and Leaders are in sync? Check out our State of Developer Experience Survey to read the full report: https://bit.ly/4cPhgRN

⚡️ If you're in an IT Ops team, you'll want to check out all the amazing work coming powered by Atlassian Intelligence. Detecting and resolving incidents is challenging to say the least, and we've got two exciting new things to help in Jira Service Management: 1️⃣ Know more, faster: AI Alert Grouping automatically identifies patterns among incoming alerts to correlate and group them based on similarities. Responders can focus on the highest-priority alerts and proactively detect incidents. 2️⃣ Type less with intelligent PIRs: Creating a Post Incident Review (PIR) takes time. No more scrolling through issues and loads of text to write an incident overview. Atlassian Intelligence provides AI-generated summaries of an incident saving precious time for the ops team, without losing critical insights. 👉🏽 Join our AI Ops early access program to start using them in BETA: https://lnkd.in/gUGKir7U

Imagine saving two hours every week at work. This is the impact Atlassian Intelligence had on Domino's Pizza Enterprises Limited within their first week of adopting AI. Hearing stories like these from our customers truly energizes me. It's the most rewarding part of my job. Domino’s leverages Atlassian AI to transform lengthy five-page reports into concise, actionable summaries. They employ virtual agents to automate routine support interactions and proactively tackle issues before they become problems. AI frees their teams to focus on more complex challenges. It is incredibly motivating to see our customers embrace AI and explore its vast potential to boost productivity. Our newest AI innovation, Atlassian Rovo, is already helping teams access, learn from, and utilize information scattered across various apps. I can’t wait to hear more stories of how teams are using AI to make a meaningful difference in their work.

The appetite for software development is infinite and AI has transformed what’s possible…it does make you think how this serves as a microcosm of the macrocosm for how we should be thinking about human-AI interaction 🤔. Software development has been fundamentally supply-constrained. Until now - what’s possible has been limited by the number of engineers, not by the number of ideas. But AI is: ✅ Unlocking the speed at which software can be shipped ✅ Enhancing the developer experience and freeing up time to focus on what matters most ✅ Opening doors for a greater number of people to be involved in building and operating software Sure, this is just one slice of AI (though arguably, a very important one). But what is exciting, is it represents human creativity in the infinite 🤯. At Atlassian, we’re constantly thinking about human-AI partnership. How do we effectively bring AI onto teams so that it can help more people unleash more potential? The software development use case really demonstrates the possibilities when we get things humming.
