Yesterday, some of our Aussie team tackled the #City2Surf — the world’s biggest fun run, which winds from the Sydney CBD to the iconic Bondi Beach. Talk about the perfect event to hard launch the Linkby Run Club. 🏃♂️ The crew put in a valiant effort tackling the 14km course (including the notorious Heartbreak Hill) in style. The #OneTeamOneDream mentality was in full force as the gang cheered each other on through the challenging run — the DJs, bands, supporters, and spectacular views along the way helped, too! Afterwards, the crew kicked on at the epic Urban List x New Balance afterparty for some well-deserved bevvies and a boogie. Big thanks to the U:L team for having us! It's no secret that run clubs are all the rage right now. And if you're one of many who are hooked, you’ll know that a good pair of running shoes can make all the difference. 🏃♂️ Men's Health Australia runs a ‘Tried & Tested’ series where they trial some of the most popular running shoes to help their readers make the best possible choice. Given that the Brooks Running Ghost trainers have been a favourite amongst fitness enthusiasts since 2008, the team were keen to take its latest iteration, the Ghost 16, out for a spin. The result was this amazing, in-depth review by writer Cayle Reid, who (spoiler alert) wrote: "When trying out a new shoe for the first time, there are usually some teething issues. You need to get used to the fit and differing levels of responsiveness need to be adapted to, not to mention that the shoe itself needs to adjust to the unique form of your foot. But with the Ghost 16, I don’t notice any of that. Almost immediately, the shoe feels like I’ve been wearing it for years and fades out of my attention as I focus on the run. There’s nothing better than a partnership that just *works* 👌 And, as this #AmazonPrimeDay collab between MailOnline and This Works proved, that doesn’t have to involve reinventing the wheel. Ahead of the major sales event, the beauty and wellness brand wanted to spread the word that its award-winning Deep Sleep Pillow Spray was reduced by 38 per cent. Daily Mail UK already had a top-performing article about the calming spray — which is said to send users to sleep in less than 15 minutes 😴 — and was able to update the existing content with info about the sale. The result was this great article by Emily Knott and Lydia Wheatley that had readers flocking to the checkout faster than you can say ‘zzz’!
