EndemolShine Australia's Director of Content, marty benson and our Head of Creative Production and Entertainment, Tamara Simoneau, told Mediaweek Australia's Jasper Baumann the hook for this season was to make the contestants “real” fugitives on the run. Reece D. OAM is Hunted’s newly appointed Chief and tells Mediaweek: “I think viewers will be drawn into the scenario, where this time they will pick a side, fugitive or hunter. I know which team I’ll be backing.” Hunted: The Million Dollar Heist. Starts tonight, Monday 12 August at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play. Read the full interview here: https://lnkd.in/gxE-AAmz

Before Hunted: The Million Dollar Heist premieres on Monday, TV Tonight got behind-the-scenes intell from Paramount Australia’s Head of Creative Production & Entertainment, Tamara Simoneau and EndemolShine Australia's Director of Content, marty benson. Marty said: “This year we lean a lot into the fact that Hunted is a game and how you play that game. But the Hunters all treat it exactly as if it was a real life hunt.” Tamara said: "There’s a lot of people that I think viewers will misjudge. There’s some people that the Hunters 100% misjudge, and you’ll see that play out which is really interesting." Hunted: The Million Dollar Heist. Begins Monday, 12 August at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play. On August 1, 1964, at four minutes to 8pm, Australian actor Brian James welcomed Melbourne audiences to a new television station. “Channel 0 is now part of the life of Melbourne and the past that made us,” James boldly claimed, during the opening address of variety show, This Is It. While the station name has since changed, Channel 10 has become woven into the fabric of not only the Victorian capital, but indeed the entire country. Sandra Sully AM Sully is currently in her 35th year at the network, and although she admits she doesn’t watch Neighbours — “I’ve always been on air when Neighbours has been on”, she protests — she does recall being thrown in the deep end from her very first day at the network. To mark 10's 60th anniversary today, TV Tonight sought some memories from some of the longest-serving network faces. Jennifer Keyte, 10 News First Melbourne Presenter, said: "Channel 10 was a powerhouse in the early 80s! It was a great place to work. A highlight was working on the Ash Wednesday bushfires. I learnt how important our jobs were in a time of crisis." Stephen Quartermain, 10 News First Melbourne Presenter, said: "I’m probably best known for getting slapped around by Laurie Lawrence in 1988 at the Seoul Olympics. And for calling the famous “Leo Barry you star” mark in the 2005 AFL grand final. I also thoroughly enjoyed working on Working Dog’s show The Panel." Angela Bishop OAM, Host and Network Entertainment Editor, said: "The first show I appeared on was Eyewitness News in May 1989 as a general reporter. A definite career highlight was getting a call from Tom Gleisner at Working Dog asking me to join their brand new show “The Panel” to talk about what was going on in the showbiz world. That first night, live on air Wednesday at 9:30pm, was one of the most exhilarating and terrifying of my life." Sandra Sully AM, 10 News First Presenter, said: "I started with the Network in 1990. Aside from my wonderful colleagues throughout my decades at 10, the camaraderie in the Newsroom has always been just outstanding. In terms of opportunities, I can’t beat presenting 10’s Late News for nearly 18 years, as well as working on the Victoria Commonwealth Games and Atlanta Olympic Games." https://lnkd.in/gUibgbMT
