The new "Twisters" film is set to hit theaters soon and with a brand new cast as opposed to the original 1996 movie starring Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton.

Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos.

The film is about Kate Cooper (Edgar-Jones) who is helping her friend Javi (Ramos) test a new tracking system, despite trauma from a past tornado encounter. In the process, she ends up meeting Tyler Owens (Powell), a social-media star who posts his storm-chasing adventures. The storm intensifies and Kate, Tyler and the rest of the crew fight for their lives as danger takes over central Oklahoma.
