Joy (Amy Poehler) and Anxiety (Maya Hawke) in "Inside Out 2."

"'Inside Out 2' seems to have ignited the summer movie season with a record-breaking opening weekend, bringing in $295 million worldwide, the biggest opening of any animated film," Porcar said. "Families now appear to be ready for a day at the movies for Pixar’s emotional sequel."
