Samuel Treat
Samuel Treat (1815-1902) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
He was nominated by President Franklin Pierce on March 3, 1857. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission that same day. He retired on March 5, 1887.[1] Treat was succeeded in this position by Amos Madden Thayer.
