Our monthly Quizzo night landed at Attic Brewing Co. at the end of February for an evening of trivia, happy hour specials, and prizes.
The Germantown brewpub launched three years ago in a converted warehouse at Wayne Junction, after co-owners Laura and Todd Lacy raised funds via microinvestments from the local community.
Nearly 100 people joined us for the BP Quizzo event, and split into 23 teams to answer three rounds of questions. Creative names are a must — the best one gets a prize — and this evening it went to team Betsy Ross Forgot to Floss. Trivia competition was fierce, with several leaderboard changes. An Attic Brewing gift card of $25 went to Hansberry Garden Gangsters, who ended the night in second place.
They couldn’t catch the Quaker Quizzers, who led from the start and ended up winning first place and a $50 Attic gift card by getting 19 of 24 questions correct.
