How much do you know about Philly? Dozens of people packed Pistolas Del Sur on a warm March evening to test their mettle at the latest BP Quizzo night.
Each month we take the live version of our daily newsletter trivia game to a different venue around town — and this East Passyunk bar was a popular spot. As the nachos and margaritas flowed, players filled nearly every seat in the house, breaking into 22 different teams.
As BP Quizzo hosts Danya Henninger and Sakeenah Benjamin read the three rounds of questions, they did their best to answer, turning to teammates for help but avoiding the easy internet lookup (not allowed!).
There was also a prize for best team name on the line, a Pistolas t-shirt. There were several great contenders, but in the end it went to locally-named team “Not Moyamensing Around.” Team “It Me, Jawn Morgan” was a close runner up.

Right answers were needed for the bigger prizes. A $25 gift card for second place was earned by team “Matt’s Turning 40 Saturday” (happy birthday, Matt), and the $50 top prize was taken by team “Rudy Giuliani and the Four Seasons,” who got 20/24 questions correct.
