EA Sports announced Monday its weeklong rollout for some of the rankings in the highly College Football 25 video game.

The fun starts Tuesday with the developers revealing the toughest stadiums in which to play and culminates Friday with overall program rankings.

Stadium atmosphere was a key feature of the NCAA Football franchise. The louder and more intense the crowd was, the more your screen and controller would shake. There was an accompanying impact on the players, too, as underclassmen would get more easily rattled on the field.

Having a ranking of the toughest stadiums was another way for fans to have bragging rights over their rivals as well.

EA Sports confirmed in May's gameplay trailer that home-field advantage will remain a focal point in College Football 25 and appears to mirror its old iteration.

When it comes to the individual unit and overall rankings for the teams, Thursday and Friday's announcements are unlikely to spring any big surprises because fans broadly know the hierarchy at the top of the sport.

There will be some intrigue surrounding the heavy hitters, though.

Reigning national champion Michigan lost a number of key players from last year's squad. Alabama had to replace legendary head coach Nick Saban with Kalen DeBoer, which had a domino effect on the roster. It might be now or never for Lane Kiffin to make Ole Miss a title contender after the Rebels ranked first in 247Sports' team rankings for the transfer portal.

Unfortunately for fans, they still have to wait until July 19 for College Football 25 to hit stores. This week will at least be a reminder that the delay is almost over.
