San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk posted a photo of Washington Commanders practice film during the team's mandatory minicamp in June.

On Sunday, Aiyuk posted the image on TikTok.

WOW… <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/49ers?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#49ers</a> WR Brandon Aiyuk just posted this picture of <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Commanders?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Commanders</a> practice film on TikTok <br><br>πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€<br><br>(Via <a href="https://twitter.com/JayDanielsMVP?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@JayDanielsMVP</a>) <a href="https://t.co/zHfQGZIiv4">pic.twitter.com/zHfQGZIiv4</a>

The 26-year-old's future with the 49ers is uncertain as he searches for a new contract from the team. On June 28, Aiyuk listed the Commanders as a team that he could see himself playing for to begin the 2024 season during an appearance on The Pivot Podcast.

He currently has one season left on his contract after the 49ers exercised his fifth-year option in 2023. Aiyuk is set to earn $14.1 million during the 2024 season before entering free agency in 2025.

He met with the 49ers on June 24. Although a long-term contract agreement wasn't reached, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that there were no plans for a trade following the meeting.

The connections between Aiyuk and Washington start with Jayden Daniels, the Commanders' new rookie quarterback. Daniels and the 49ers wideout were previously college teammates at Arizona State in 2019.

On June 17, questions surfaced regarding Aiyuk's future in San Francisco after he told Daniels that "they don't want me back" in a separate TikTok video.

The former first-round pick is coming off an exceptional 2023 season in San Francisco, hauling in 75 receptions for a career-high 1,342 yards in 16 starts. He's also developed into a consistent red zone target, racking up 15 touchdown catches over the past two years.

If the 49ers are unable to agree on an extension with Aiyuk before training camp begins, the buzz surrounding a potential trade will continue to grow louder. He skipped voluntary offseason workouts and was also absent at San Francisco's mandatory minicamp in June.

Veterans are expected to report to 49ers training camp on July 23.
