For those in the back, I'll say it again. *support women's careers intentionally in whatever way you can. The above are all action words. ACTION. My hope for 2024 is that companies give employees who can work flexibly (most of us) the opportunity to experiment with what works best for their org: from home, from the office or shared workspace, or a mix of these. Spend the time, keep an open mind, and iterate with your team. Set goals and measure results. If things aren’t working, adapt. Companies that trust their employees to find what works best for them and their teams will win over time with better talent and higher employee retention. Let’s make 2024 the year that we look objectively at location restrictions and experiment with what works best on a case-by-case basis. Don’t let COVID restrictions, or their subsequent rushed back-to-office mandates, bias your approach. Your team and your bottom line will thank you.

We have a new opportunity that we’re very excited about: Director, M&A: We’re working with a small, innovate Investment Banking firm to find their new M&A leader. This role will be working closely with the founder and CEO, and help founders end to end with raising debt/equity, management buyouts and other innovate transactions. The ideal candidate has been a part of M&A deals end to end, ideally in SaaS or internet based companies, has an accounting background (CPA/CA designation not required but preferred) and has very strong interpersonal skills. We’re looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, organized, and wants to get into a small, innovative company and help build. Compensation structure is highly weighted on outcomes and the successful candidate will have large variable upside (uncapped) per successful deal. Base salary will be in the 100-120k range.
