Most Pride campaigns wrap up as June ends, with brands shelving their rainbow flags until the next year. However, with Pride celebrations continuing this weekend, August 3rd and 4th, for Vancouver Pride, we wanted to shine the spotlight on LGBTQI+ rights and build an impact that extends far beyond the rainbow-laden festivities of June, August, and beyond. Pride is everyday.  🎥 To do that, we partnered with Rainbow Refugee Society to highlight their incredible work in supporting LGBTQI+ refugees seeking safety and belonging. Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee provides vital support and system navigation for those fleeing persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status. Through the Rainbow Refugee Assistant Partnership, they privately sponsor refugees, creating welcoming communities in collaboration with other LGBTQI+ organizations. 🏳️🌈 ‘A Place Called Pride’ reminds everyone that DE&I practices should be ongoing throughout the year, not just during Pride Month.
