At its November 2023 meeting, the IEEE Board of Directors nominated Mary Ellen Randall, John P. Verboncoeur, and S. K. Ramesh 2025 IEEE President-Elect. The listing order of the IEEE President-Elect candidates was determined by a lottery process, and indicates no preference.
Meet the 2025 IEEE President-Elect Candidates Forums
The second session of the Meet the 2025 IEEE President-Elect Candidates Forum will be held on Tuesday, 6 August 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am EDT/UTC 13:00. The candidates will answer questions on issues important to IEEE members. 2024 IEEE President-Elect Kathleen A. Kramer will host and moderate the event.

Voting in the 2024 IEEE Annual Election
The IEEE Annual Election balloting starts on 15 August 2024 and ends at 12:00 noon ET (16:00 UTC-04) on 1 October 2024.
This year’s ballot includes IEEE President-Elect candidates who are nominated by IEEE Board, as well as nominees for Delegate-Elect/Director-Elect for IEEE Divisions I, III, V, VII, IX, and for IEEE Regions 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10. The ballot also includes candidates for IEEE Standards Association Board of Governors Members-at-Large, IEEE Technical Activities Vice President-Elect, and IEEE-USA President-Elect.
