Als internationale Gruppe mit 8 führenden Marken sind wir in mehr als 90 Ländern vertreten. Unser Ziel ist es, Marktführer im Bereich der Naturkosmetik zu werden. Für unsere Marken verwenden wir die besten Inhaltsstoffe, um in Verbindung mit innovativen Extraktionsprozessen und überliefertem Wissen die ganze Kraft der Natur auszuschöpfen. Mit unseren kompetenten F&E-Teams und in unseren Labors in Südfrankreich, Brasilien und Korea entwickeln wir Formeln und Produkte, die die Erwartungen übertreffen und neue Industriestandards setzen. Dazu gehören mehr als 50 Produktpatente. Unser weltweites Netzwerk aus über 3.000 Verkaufsstellen umfasst auch mehr als 1.500 eigene Boutiquen. Unsere kundenorientierte Vertriebsstrategie auf Omnichannel-Basis bereitet unseren Kunden ein integriertes Einkaufserlebnis und ermöglicht ihnen den Kontakt mit den Marken über zahlreiche Kanäle, wobei Qualität und Service auf allen Ebenen gewährleistet sind. Seit der Gründung der Marke L'OCCITANE en Provence im Jahr 1976 sind verantwortungsvolles und nachhaltiges Handeln Kernprinzipien unseres Unternehmens. Weitere Prioritäten sind für uns heute der Erhalt und Schutz unserer Umwelt, die Förderung unserer Mitarbeiter und die Unterstützung von Gemeinschaftsentwicklungsprojekten. We’ve also launched a DE&I ambassadors programme worldwide and have successfully rolled out a global parental leave policy, giving 20 weeks of paid leave to primary caregivers and 12 to secondary caregivers. We were also certified a ‘Great Place To Work’ in 2022 in 16 countries across the world.  Governance: Social, environmental, and economic sustainability considerations are now embedded in our company’s ‘Articles of Association’ to ensure sustainability is part of business decision-making on a daily basis.  Environment: We’re proud of our factories’ pioneering circular approach, as well as our extensive efforts to develop more eco-friendly packaging, recycling and product refill programmes.     Thanks to our latest 2024 ESG report, we’re able to take a closer look at how L’OCCITANE Group creates social change value. And when it comes to fair pay and benefits, we’re proud to report that we’re getting ever closer to our 100% target (by FY2026) for a Living Wage certification across the board. In FY2024, 55% of our employees are paid at living wage family threshold certified by the Fair Wage Network and Real Living Wage. Looks like we on course for even better numbers in FY2025.     Let’s make a positive impact on our environment! This year, L’OCCITANE en Provence’s teams in Taiwan has organizing a volunteer day dedicated to wetland restoration. The team rolled up their sleeves and headed into the wetlands to remove invasive species that harm the ecosystem. 🌱 Why wetlands? Wetlands play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity and supporting wildlife. Unfortunately, invasive plants and debris threaten their health. By removing these “alien species,” the team helped wetlands breathe freely and recover their natural balance. 🌊 Our approach: People power! Our wetland maintenance work is a labour of love. We rely on manpower to minimize environmental impact and costs. It might seem challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. Connecting with the land and healing our planet—it’s a win-win! 🌏 Join us in this noble endeavor!     The transition to a nature-positive, net zero economy requires ambitious and forward looking legislation says L'OCCITANE en Provence CEO, Adrien Geiger. Businesses cannot address the challenge of nature and biodiversity loss alone and voluntary business action is not enough. That's why we're part of the Business for Nature coalition... The Business for Nature coalition has published five high-level recommendations and 20 detailed policy asks for governments to accelerate the action needed on nature. The policy recommendations call on governments to urgently adopt policies to: 🌎 Make sure business and finance protect and restore nature 🌎 Ensure natural resources are used and managed sustainably to reduce negative environmental impacts 🌎 Value and embed nature in decision-making and disclosure 🌎 Align all financial flows to a transition to a nature-positive, net-zero and equitable economy 🌎Adopt/strengthen ambitious global agreements to address key nature loss challenges This is an urgent appeal to governments for their immediate leadership to strengthen the policies, incentives and legislation that will drive the necessary business action to halt and reverse nature loss this decade. 🔗 Read the policy recommendations: https://lnkd.in/dYcJkbA
