"The weekend calls for some grilling and smoking, but make it Rao's Homemade style 😎 @pnw_traeger knows how to make a killer meatball sub 💯 Ingredients: - 1 Jar (24oz) of Raos Homemade Marinara sauce - 1 large Egg - 1/3 cup milk - 2 tablespoons Worecestershire sauce - 1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs - 1 tablespoon your favorite rub - 1 pound Ground Beef - 1/3 cup minced onion - 1 teaspoon minced garlic - 1/4 cup mozzarella or parmesan cheese. - 6 in hoagie rolls Step 1 - Pregeat Traeger to 350 degrees. Step 2 - In a small bowl whisk the egg. Whisk in the milk and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in the breadcrumbs and your favorite rub and then let the mixture sit for 3-5 minutes. Step 3 - In another mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onions and garlic. Add the egg mixture and combine. Step 4 - If mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs. If mixture is too dry, add more milk. Roll into 1/4 cup balls and place on a rack and with baking sheet underneath. Step 5 - Bake meatballs for 30 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees. Step 6 - While meatballs are cooking, heat Raos Homemade Marinara Sauce in a cast iron skillet. Once the meatballs are done, transfer the meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer for 5-10 minutes. Step 7 - About 3 minutes before pulling the cast iron skillet, top meatballs with mozzarella or parmesan cheese to your liking. Step 8 - Toast hoagie rolls face down on Traeger until toasted. Step 9 - Remove cast iron from Traeger. Place 3 meatballs in each hoagie. Top with more cheese if preferred and enjoy!"
