Bahasa Indonesia: Menolak berbahasa asing maupun bernada elektrik seperti budaya luar yang masuk ke daerah kita, seorang Ibu ini justru masih menghidupi budaya puluhan tahun lalu. Bernyanyi diiringi musik gamelan. Dalam foto ini, beliau menyanyikan lagu di Ndalem Prodjolukitan saat menyambut tamu tahun lalu. Sinden seperti ibu ini masih banyak ditemui di Kota Solo.
English: Intending not to adapt foreign language nor electric tunes like today's foreign cultures crossing our country, this woman chooses to keep our own culture. In this picture, she was singing within gamelan music to welcome some guests in Ndalem Prodjolukitan last year. This karawitan singer or Sinden, is still easily found in Solo. |
