Adult film star Jesse Jane’s cause of death announced by officials

Jane died Jan 24. alongside her boyfriend.

Officials have announced Jesse Jane’s cause of death.

A summary of an autopsy report by the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office lists "fentanyl and cocaine toxicity" as the probable cause of death for the adult film star, who died Jan. 24 alongside her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller. The death was ruled accidental.

Authorities found Jane, whose real name was Cindy Taylor, and Hasenmueller dead at a home in Moore, Okla., after receiving a call to perform a wellness check. At the time, a representative from the Moore Police Department told Entertainment Weekly that the police assumed the deaths resulted from a drug overdose, but had not yet confirmed their suspicion with medical examiners.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1980, Jane made her best-known appearance in a non-pornographic project in an episode of Entourage in 2005. The actress played a woman who helped Vincent (Adrian Grenier) and E (Kevin Connolly) deal with an aggressive reporter (Rainn Wilson) in a season two episode.

Jane also hosted Playboy TV’s Night Calls with Kirsten Price from 2006 to 2007. She had a played a small role in Todd PhillipsStarsky & Hutch starring Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, and later appeared in Middle Men starring Luke Wilson and Giovanni Ribisi.

Jane also made small appearances in The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Bad Girls Club, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Let the Game Begin and Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star. She is survived by her son.
