An ''Ally McBeal'' inspired by true events

Remember the Jan. 19 episode of Ally McBeal? It’s the one in which Calista Flockhart takes on a wrongful-death case involving an airliner that blows up mid-flight because of a fuel-tank malfunction. (She even dreams she’s on a smoke-filled plane.) The flight number? Flight 111 — same as the Swissair jet that crashed off the coast of Nova Scotia.
