A movie that aims for brashness but achieves obnoxiousness. Garcia is an irrepressible ticket scalper trying to win back his girlfriend (a wooden MacDowell) and pull off the requisite Last Big Score in Just the Ticket. Drunken dowagers and priests who request Knicks tix in the confessional are this picture’s idea of comedy; keep an eye out for Laura Harris, however, who invests the minor role of a relapsing junkie with curdled grace.
