LOVE AND MARRIAGE Jennifer Aniston says the first year of her marriage to Brad Pitt has been the ”hardest year of my life.” In the May issue of Vanity Fair, Aniston talks about how introspective her life has become since she and Pitt tied the knot last July. Aniston also mentions Pitt’s former relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow: ”Gwyneth is a lovely person. But I didn’t worry about their past relationship, it was never something that was an interference.”

The famous ”Friend” even confessed that she and her husband have different ideas about kids: ”I always thought two or three children, but Brad’s definitely seven. He loves the idea of a huge family.” With those genes, how could they go wrong?

EXPECTING Academy Award winner Jodie Foster is pregnant with her second child, her publicist confirmed on Tuesday. The extremely private actress will not, however, reveal who the father is or provide any other details except that the baby is due in November. Foster, 38, has a son, Charlie, 2.

Foster told gossip columnist Liz Smith that she enjoys being pregnant and feels great. ”I look forward to this experience again,” she said. ”I am into all the health foods, yoga and the rest of it.” Foster is currently shooting the suspense thriller ”The Panic Room,” which wraps in June, and is developing a script for a biopic about German filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, Smith reported.

INTERNET VENTURE Rock star / entrepreneur David Bowie is launching another online service. BowieNet, the rocker’s official website, will kick off its online BowieRadio service Thursday. The service will feature a comprehensive collection of Bowie recordings and various stations streaming other artists’ music. According to the Associated Press, Bowie plans to add more stations in the next few months, including one that features Bowie as the ”disc jockey.”

Bowie’s subscription based site will not allow users to copy or exchange files. ”We have developed programming that not only satisfies the musical tastes and personal requests of our members, but also does not infringe on the rights of the writers and publishers,” Bowie told the AP Tuesday. Very diplomatic of you, David.

HE’S ALIVE Magician David Copperfield survived his on air stunt Tuesday, spending 10 seconds at the center of a ring of flames. Copperfield stood in a vortex of cool air within a man made tornado that was shooting 2,000 degree flames around him. The magic man wore a flame retardant military flight suit with a hood and gloves and had braces wrapped around his arms to make sure he stayed in the vortex. After the flames died out, Copperfield fell and yelled ”I’m hot,” referring to his leg. Twenty minutes after the show, Copperfield told reporters: ”It was exhausting and it was scary. I felt a burning sensation in my throat.”

CASTING Christopher Walken will star in the partly animatronic adventure ”The Country Bears” for Disney. Walken joins sitcom vets Daryl ”Chill” Mitchell (”Veronica’s Closet”), Deidrich Bader (”The Drew Carey Show”), and various musicians in the kid friendly picture that features eight animatronic bears featuring the voices of Charles S. Dutton and Haley Joel Osment. The film began production March 12 in Los Angeles, but Walken’s work starts next week.

AWARD ALERT Singer – actor Ruben Blades (”Gideon’s Crossing”) will be inducted into the International Latin Music Hall of Fame at its third annual induction ceremony and concert Wednesday night. Held at the Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture in the Bronx, the event will be webcast live by the Spanish Broadcasting System, according to the Associated Press. Other inductees include Antonio Carlos Jobim, Xavier Cugat, Pedro Infante, and the Buena Vista Social Club.

TUBE NEWS Oscar winner Mercedes Ruehl will play Nick Turturro‘s mother in the CBS sitcom pilot ”Mr. Life,” about three Italian American brothers who run a restaurant in Brooklyn.

Jonathan Silverman (”Single Guy”) has joined the cast of the CBS comedy pilot ”Baby Bob.” Silverman will costar as Charlie Matthews, father of the talking toddler the sitcom is based on.

And, we all knew it was a possibility after ”Full House” ended: Bob Saget is ready to return to TV in the WB comedy pilot ”Wake Up Dad.” Once again, Saget will play a single dad with daughters (two this time). Instead of dealing with two older single men, Saget will deal with his widower father.

HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTESS LeAnn Rimes will host of the Academy of Country Music Awards in Los Angeles next month. Rimes, 18, ”brings a great deal of energy and excitement to our show,” Fran Boyd, ACM executive director, said Tuesday at a press conference. The ACM Awards are May 9, and will be broadcast on CBS.
