ABC sets ''Bachelorette'' Trista's on-air wedding date

ABC sets ''Bachelorette'' Trista's on-air wedding date. The nuptials will be a three-part miniseries beginning Nov. 26

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have nothing on Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter when it comes to dragging out wedding plans. The wedding of the reality couple, who became engaged at the end of ABC’s ”The Bachelorette” in February, will take three weeks. ABC announced that the network is stretching the festivities into a three-episode miniseries that will premiere on Nov. 26 and air on consecutive Wednesdays.

Rehn and Sutter have been promised a dowry of $1 million from ABC, most of it not payable until after they walk down the aisle. Meanwhile, the couple have already had their bachelor and bachelorette parties. The bashes were held over the weekend on the Caribbean island of St. Martin and were presumably tamer than most, since they were taped for the wedding special, the Associated Press reports. Among Sutter’s guests were some of the suitors whom Rehn rejected on ”Bachelorette,” including Jamie Blythe, Russ Woods, and Bob Guiney. Guiney, who has said he plans to sing at Trista and Ryan’s wedding, will be seeking his own mate among a bevy of bridal wannabes on ”The Bachelor” this fall.
