''Bachelorette'''s Trista and Ryan get hitched

It was a made-for-TV wedding for the made-on-TV couple. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter made it legal on Saturday night in Palm Springs, Calif., at a resort that had been closed to the public for four days to prepare for the $1 million event. The ”Bachelorette” couple were married before 300 guests at the Lodge at Rancho Mirage, the resort’s public relations firm announced. Of the five couples matched by ABC’s ”Bachelor” and ”Bachelorette” series, Rehn and Sutter are the only one to make it to the altar so far.

The bride wore a Badgley Mischka gown, while the groom and his party wore Kenneth Cole-designed tuxedos. The aisle was adorned with 30,000 roses imported from Ecuador. Guests dined on 200 pounds of shrimp, lobster and crab; 180 bottles of champagne and 600 bottles of wine. The guest list reportedly included some of Rehn’s former ”Bachelorette” suitors. Among those expected to attend, according to People magazine, were Bob Guiney, the jilted suitor who became this fall’s ”Bachelor,” and his intended, Estella Gardiner, despite rumors that they had split since the series ended.

ABC paid physical therapist Rehn and firefighter Sutter $1 million for getting hitched on TV (it’ll air the finale of its ”Trista and Ryan’s Wedding” series on Wednesday), a fee that was the subject of a lawsuit filed last week by Rehn’s former manager, Kevin Allyn, who claimed she owes him 20 percent of the sum as a commission. Rehn’s lawyer, Stanton ”Larry” Stein, responded to Reuters, saying that the suit was meant to hurt and embarrass Rehn but would only be a ”a tiny little black cloud” at the wedding.
