Looks like Charlize Theron will need some flux time. The Oscar-winning actress, in Germany shooting the movie ”Aeon Flux,” was injured Monday during a stunt, the Associated Press reports. The nature of the injury was unclear; spokespeople for Theron and Paramount Pictures said that the 29-year-old would not need to be hospitalized, but production would be halted indefinitely until she recovers.
In the film, based on the animated MTV series, Theron plays the title character, an acrobatic assassin in a post-apocalyptic future. Theron had been performing many of her own stunts, a studio spokesperson said. ”Charlize sustained an injury — it’s a very physically demanding role,” a publicist told E! Online. ”She’s doing well, and she wants to come back and finish the film, and all signs indicate that will happen, but the time frame is still being determined. It’s up to the doctors at this point.”
