The Force may be with them, but perhaps not the facts.

Die-hard Star Wars fans started lining up outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater Saturday — a mere seven weeks early — in an effort to score tickets to the May 19 premiere of Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith. According to Daily Variety, however, Twentieth Century Fox officials say the movie is more likely to open at the ArcLight theater about a mile away.

In spite of the news, 11 stubborn, slightly obsessed folks refused to budge from their coveted spots, telling the Associated Press that false rumors abounded in 1999 and 2002 that the fourth and fifth Star Wars movies wouldn’t open at Grauman’s either. They’ll only have to wait another 43 days to find out.
