If you’re into the troweledon camp of midnight-movie wannabes like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! or Tremors, you may just enjoy Black Sheep, a New Zealand horror comedy in which mutant killer sheep run amok. It’s a one-joke movie, though. For a while, the special effects are of the Ed Wood octopus school: people screaming as they’re pelted with what look like stuffed ewes. Then the sheep bare their teeth, gnawing bloodily through innards and limbs, but the film remains a strenuous goof, one that will test your tolerance for the violence of the lambs. C
