What (late night music) To Watch: Chicago on the Chris Isaak Hour

There will be slim pickings for music lovers on late-night TV this evening. Instead of making Prince the default choice (though dude was pretty suave last night on his first of three Leno performances), I’m going with a left-field pick: Chicago on the Chris Isaak Hour (10 p.m., Biography Channel). I’ve only been able to catch one episode of Isaak’s new hour-long talk show, but what I saw, I liked. That man has no shortage of awkward charm. Plus, it seems like he will ask Chicago why they haven’t been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet, which should yield an interesting response from the venerable rock stars. And they’re playing “You’re the Inspiration.” I know, I know, you can’t resist, either. Be sure to tune in.

Also scheduled for tonight:

Prince (part deux) on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
Jon Rich on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
U2 on the Late Show with David Letterman (repeat)
Nico Vega on Last Call with Carson Daly
