Rihanna rules the Hot 100 for a second week

This is the first of her three singles from last year's Rated R to top this chart, after the comparatively gloomy "Russian Roulette" and "Hard" peaked at No. 9 and No. 8, respectively. Clearly her strategy of switching things up with a more up-tempo party track is working out.

Right below Rihanna at No. 2, up from No. 5 last week, is "Nothin' on You," from rising Atlanta hip-hop talent B.O.B. featuring Bruno Mars on the hook (video after the jump). Last month, EW's survey of radio programmers suggested that B.O.B. was about to blow up. Looks like they were right.

No. 3 goes to a little song you might have heard of called "Telephone." Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's collab, no doubt helped by that wild video, hopped up six spots from last week. Will it follow "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" to become Gaga's third Hot 100 No. 1, or stall out just short of the top like "Bad Romance"? Tune in next week.

Down at No. 17, we find Drake's "Over," catapulting up from No. 35. That's largely on the strength of 100,000 in online sales, which earns "Over" Billboard's Digital Gainer title this week. "Over" is still nowhere near the success of Drizzy's "Best I Ever Had" (which peaked at No. 2) — yet. Something tells me Drake might have another smash in store this spring, whether it's this one or another.

That's it for notable developments in the top 20 of this week's Hot 100. Any surprises in there? How long do you think Rihanna will last at No. 1?
