'Castle' finale exclusive: Beckett and Castle will [spoiler alert]!

Image Credit: Karen Neal/ABCCastle is about to cut the sexual tension between its leading gumshoes with a machete. Executive producer Andrew W. Marlowe reveals that Castle and Beckett will exit the denial phase of their relationship in the show’s May 17 season finale.

“Beckett and Castle finally realize their attraction to each other is too strong to deny,” he tells me, “and decisions must be made by each of them.”

What decisions? And does it involve Beckett’s forthcoming romance with a certain blazing hot Battlestar Galactica toaster? Marlowe would only say that Castle’s “not-too-subtle jealousy” over his partner’s new lover will lead to “a competition for Beckett’s affection” as the season draws to a close.
