B.o.B and Robin Thicke sing 'Nothin' on You' unplugged: Watch here

When he performed his smash "Nothin' on You" for a Starburst-sponsored MTV Unplugged performance, B.o.B didn't just switch out electric instrumentation for acoustic. He also invited Robin Thicke to sing the hook instead of the original version's Bruno Mars. I'm not sure exactly what this substitution has to do with the whole "unplugged" concept, but it does manage to make this very smooth song sound even smoother, and wring some fresh juice out of one of this year's most ubiquitous hits.

Check out the Thicke-assisted "Nothin' on You" after the jump, and let us know how you like it in the comments. Then, if you like, click over to MTV.com to see the rest of B.o.B's unplugged clips.
