Jonesing for a few new super humans?

On July 11, Syfy is premiering Alphas, an actioner from writers Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand) and Michael Karnow about five ordinary folks were are brought together to form one helluva crime-fighting team. The series stars David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck), Malik Yoba (New York Undercover), Warren Christie (October Road), Laura Mennell (Watchmen), Ryan Cartwright (Mad Men), and Azita Ghanizada (Castle). Syfy is set to roll out this trailer in theaters nationwide starting this weekend on more than than 5,000 screens before movies like The Hangover Part II, X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern, and Super 8.
