Twisty legal drama Damages is returning for its fourth season on DirecTV, which inherits the series from FX. This time, Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) team up to take down a private military contractor headed by CEO Howard T. Erickson, played by John Goodman. But expect big surprises — after all, this is Damages. In fact, Close says she was even in the dark about how it would all be resolved in the end. "[The writers] gave me broad strokes about my son Michael, the case and my relationship with Ellen," says the Emmy-winning actress. "But how it actually gets worked out, I don't know." Damages new season premieres July 13. Watch the teaser below…
