Becki Newton's sitcom from 'HIMYM' team gets Fox pilot order

Fox just ordered a comedy pilot from the How I Met Your Mother team starring Becki Newton.

The show is called The Goodwin Games. Here���s the pitch: “High-concept family comedy about a father who leaves his fortune to his three children only if they agree to his terms.”

So… How I Earned My Inheritance?

Newton (Ugly Betty) will play one of the leads, and is about to start her recurring role on HIMYM on Monday as Barney’s latest love interest. HIMYM‘s Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Chris Harris will write and executive produce.
