'Castle' scoop: 'Spartacus' actor set for guest role

Castle and Beckett are getting a visit from Scotland Yard!

Spartacus: Vengeance actor Brett Tucker is set to team up with the pair for an upcoming episode this season, playing Simon Hunt, a hottie detective from Scotland Yard who is trying to find the murderer who killed his friend’s daughter. He will appear in episode 20 of this season, set to air some time in April.

Tucker currently appears in Starz’s swords-and-sandals action series as Varinius and last year appeared in two episodes of jungle drama Off the Map.

Castle airs Mondays on ABC, with last night’s episode drawing around 9.1 million viewers.
