Neil Diamond weds manager

Crooner Neil Diamond married his manager, Katie McNeil, in a ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday, People reports. This is the “Sweet Caroline” singer’s third marriage and McNeil’s first. Diamond, 71, announced his engagement to McNeil, 42, to fans on Twitter last September.

He tweeted: “Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you’re the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil.”

The couple met while filming the 2009 documentary Neil Diamond: Hot August Night NYC, which McNeil executive produced.
