'Amazing Race': The winner is...

Twenty seasons in and yet The Amazing Race still has the power to be one of the most nail-biting shows on TV. If this season unsatisfied some with its especially shrill, unlikable final four teams, it more than made up for personality deficiencies with sheer excitement. In tonight’s Hawaii-set finale, Army officer Dave and his wife Rachel reached the finish line first. They won, right? Wrong! They had completely skipped a Roadblock challenge, a bizarre task that was some kind of Hawaiian grass sledding, so they had to go back and start it from scratch. That meant Season 20 was officially anybody’s game. But there could only be one winner. And the victors were!

Dave and Rachel! Yes, even despite having to go back and re-do their Roadblock, they still managed to eke out a victory ahead of boorish border patrol agents Art & JJ. And the second time they crossed the finish line it was official. See what Phil Keoghan had to say about this epic finish during the EW.com live chat he participated in during the second hour of the finale, then share your thoughts about the white-knuckler in the comments below.
