'Community' finale: Gillian Jacobs chats live with you on EW.com

Proving that we absolutely don’t live in the darkest timeline, actress Gillian Jacobs is going to chat live with you on EW.com tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT during the last hour of the three-part Community season finale. For three hilarious seasons, Jacobs has played Britta Perry, who, contrary to the opinion of her peers at Greendale Community College, is far from the worst. Sure, Britta’s name has become a verb meaning “to make a small mistake,” her ex-boyfriend is a carney called Blade, and she puts a blue streak in her hair when times we get tough. But if you ask us, she’s the best. And Gillian’s going to take your questions about her psych-major alter ego’s adventures plus add her running commentary to the season-capping episodes “The First Chang Dynasty” and “Introduction to Finality.”

Tonight, a bunch of storylines that have been simmering all season come to a boil: Pierce’s inheritance from his racist, ivory wig-wearing father; the fight to retake the school from power-drunk Chang and his Doppel-Deaner; the study-group’s efforts to get un-expelled; Shirley’s Sandwich Shop; and, of course, Evil Abed’s quest to escape the “darkest timeline.” The first episode “Digital Estate Planning,” largely rendered as a 2-D side-scrolling arcade game, kicks off the finale at 8:00 p.m., with a 30 Rock intermission at 8:30, and the final two episodes starting at 9:00. Even before Gillian joins us, we’ll be chatting live during the whole finale.
