'Damages' season 5 tease: It all comes down to this

From the sounds of it, the teaser for Damages‘ final season may have been scored by Skrillex on a particularly dark day. After a title card reads, “The beginning of the end,” the grind of electrosynth punctuates a series of increasingly urgent flashes that land on Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne). But what does it all mean? Watch the teaser below.

Considering Patty Hewes (Glenn Close) and Ellen are entangled in an ongoing investigation of high-level corruption, the question must be asked: Did Ellen (Rose Byrne) jump off the ledge? Or wash she pushed?
