Ronan Farrow tweets Woody Allen on Fathers Day

Ronan Farrow, son of Mia and Woody Allen, has a complicated relationship with his estranged father, who infamously ended his relationship with Farrow to begin another with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi in 1992. But there’s no denying he inherited some of Allen’s wit, an attribute the 24-year-old didn’t hesitate to aim at his father during the recent holiday. “Happy father’s day,” he tweeted yesterday. “Or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.”

Zing. Or as his mother chimed in after retweeting his comment, “Boom.”

Ronan was only five years old when his parents’ scandalous public split occurred and Allen began publicly dating Soon-Yi Previn, then 21. He developed into an academic prodigy, graduating from college at 15 and earning a Rhodes scholarship while also working in the Obama administration.
